What is Home-Based Childcare?
Home-based early learning takes place in a safe, nurturing home with a maximum of four children per educator. This small group setting allows you to:
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with each child
- Tailor routines, activities, and learning experiences to their unique needs
- Enjoy real-world, play-based learning—including spontaneous community outings
- Make a lasting impact on a child’s development and wellbeing

We provide guidance and support with everything else, including getting your home set up and meeting the Ministry of Education’s licensing requirements.
